At Total Spine Health & Injury Center, we use Spinal Decompression to treat:
Chronic back or neck pain
Sciatica, which is pain, weakness, or tingling that extends down the leg from a disc pressing on a nerve root.
Bulging or herniated discs or degenerative disc disease.
Worn out spinal joints (called degenerative disc disease).
Injured or compressed spinal nerve roots.
As the spinal decompression table pulls, it gently separates the vertebrae from each other, creating a vacuum inside the disc that we are targeting.
This movement lowers pressure inside the disc — creating a vacuum effect in the targeted area.
Over time, this pressure change helps bulging or herniated disc material move away from irritated nerves.
Each session works on a microscopic level, but the cumulative effect can be significant.
This gentle pumping action also draws nutrient-rich fluids into the disc, an area that typically receives very little circulation.
Those nutrients support the body’s natural healing process and help damaged disc fibers repair over time, increasing disc height.
